CLAIM FOR AUTONOMY. (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (United Press Association.) London, February 24. The Daily Telegraph’s Constantinople correspondent reports an Arab movement in Asia Minor in the direction of autonomy, with representation in the Ottoman Ministry. The main points in the claim are the recognition of Arabic as the official language, with Turkish as a medium of communication with Stamboul; local high court appeal; regional military service in peace time; customs, port office, and military to be federally-controlled, and other revenues locally controlled.
