WOODVILLE RACES. (Per Press Association.) Woodville, February' 19. The weather is simply glorious for the first day’s racing of the Woodville Autumn Meeting. The attendance is very satisfactory. Mr McMahon, stipendiary steward is in attendance. Results : Maiden.—Dekko 1, Muscndine 2, Master Achilles 3. Heads separated the placed horses. Scratched: Hinopai, Tehuhutin, Rangaipoa, Conziska, Lady Strowan, Chatsil. Time, linin' 7 sec. Hack Hurdles.—Knutsford 1, Kanroa 2, Gay Lawless 3. Won comfortably by a length, two lengths dividing second and third. After negotiating the second hurdle Aetna lost her rider. Time 2min 23 l-ssec. Whariti Hack.—Monologue 1, Sir Daniel 2, Black Lupin 3. Scratched: Rongomai, Mediterranean, Lord Palmer, Elk Maid. Won easily by a good length, heads separating second and third. Time, Imin 29 3-5 sec. DUNEDIN RACES. Dunedin, February 19. The weather was sultry for the opening of the Cup meeting. The going is good and the attendance excellent. Results : Hurdles.—Rod Earl 1, Warsaw 2, Staidan 3. Scratched: Rifle Range and Simon Pure. A fine race, won by a head. Time, 3min 25sec, Gladhrook Handicap.—Mere T, Triumphator 2, Seek Ashore 3. Scratched: Summertime, Beta. Won by a head.
