EG MONT SUMMER MEETING. FIRST DAY. In perfect weather the Egmont Racing Club opened their summer meeting yesterday. The racing was in every way excellent, and the attendance a record, the gates showing an increase of £99 on last year’s figures. The totalisator returns for the day were £17,178, as against £ll,907 last year.
