FIRES.

FIRE IN DUNEDIN. (Per Press Association.) Dunedin, February 5. About 9 o’clock to-night a fire was discovered in the premises of Scott and Wilson, venetion blind makers in St. Andrew street. Tht fire was speedily subdued/ but practically the whole of the centre portion of the factory was gutted, and fairly extensive damage done. The building was insured for £450 in the National Office and the stock for £650 in the Y ictoria Office. The extent of the damage is unknown to-night.
