Won by a peek, half a length between second and third. Time , Imin 30 4rssec. . Takapuna Hurdles.—Shebeen 1, 1 ip 2, Explosive 3. All started. Won by five lengths, three lengths between second and third. Pat and Heyboj fell. Time, 2min 58 3-ssec. Suburban H'apdicp.—Apellon 1, Overtime 2, Blue Garments 3. All started-. Won by three Quarters of a length. Time, Imin 10 2-ssec. CHRISTCHURCH RACES. Christchurch, February 1. The weather is fine and the attendance good. Results:— Trial Stakes.—Carolus 1, Ladrone 2, Martian Maid 3. Won by three lengths. Time, Imin 18Jsec.
