WELLINGTON RACES. (Per Press Association.) Trentham, January 25. Tho weather is fine, and the going excellent for the final day of the Wellington summer meeting. There is a large attendance. Results;— Wallaceville Welter.—Oxenhope 1, Distinction 2, Black Lupin 3. Scratched: Kanaka. Black Lupin was first away, but Oxenhope soon assumed the load, and won, by two lengths, half a length between second and third. Time, Imin 15 l-ssec. Melrose Welter.—Nukuatu 1, Rock Ferry 2, Peary 3. Scratched; San Pluio Semaphore showed out first, and Peary and Rock Ferry took the lead at the top. Nukuatu came with a great rush at the straight, and won by a length and a half, half a length between secand and third. Time, Imin 28sec. Hopeful Stakes.—Peronella 1, The Hague 2, Tatterley 3. All started. Won all the way. Time 47 l-ssec.
