The advanced section of the recently amalgamated railwayman's unions wil. submit a proposal to the national conference on February 10, empowering it to declare a general strike without a previous ballot, and similarly to end . strike on any terms without consulting the members. PEACEFUL PICKETING. Berlin, January 23. The Reichstag, by 282 to 54, refused to forbid peaceful picketing.
