The steamer Snowdon Range, which was towed to Queenstown with a broken rudder, has reached the inner harbour. AN INTERESTING DISCOVERY. Raphael’s Madonna. Dellaquerciu, which was lost for a hundred years, was discovered in an Italian nobleman’s chapel. It had teen smuggled to Loudon, and is now at the Hotel Cecil, guarded by four detectives. THE PUTUMAYO ENQUIRY. Mr. Gubbins, Chairman of the Peruvian Amazon Company, re-called, admitted that a Putumayo account book prior to 1910 had disappeared, and he was unable to account for the loss.
ACTORS IN DIVORCE. Joseph Lewis, diamond merchant, has divorced Fanny Ward, the actress, the co-respondent being John Donovan, the actor.
