THE PEACE NEGOTIATIONS. DELIMITATION PROPOSALS. 'By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright (United Press Association.) London, January 9. Rescind Pasha and M. Daneff a week ago were informed that negotiations had approached an agreement regarding Adrianople, hut Rouniania’s intervention caused the Turks to stiffen their attitude. It is understood that the Bulgarians are willing to dismantle their fortifications and allow Turkey extra territorial possession of tombs and mosques, hut requires a railway connecting southern Macedonia with Aegean ports. Renter’s Paris correspondent says that the Triple Entente is inclined to support the cession of the Aegean Islands to Greece. The Triple Alliance is desirous that Turkey should retain the islands near the coast, particularly in the Dardanelles, and also Chios and Mytelene. Austria designs incorporating Scutari with Albania. Vienna, January 9. It is stated that Turkey suggests a neutral zone between Turkey and Bulgaria, so as to include Adrianople. ENGLAND’S SUPPORT. (Received’ 10.25 a.m.) Constantinople, January 9. Kiamil, interviewed, said that Turkey was lookihg for intervention by the Powers. Fresh instructions were to he sent to the London delegates in the hope that the conference will he re-opened. He continued: “England is doing all it can for us, hut it is not in a position, as formerly, to do much.” ADRIANOPLE FOOD FAMINE. Belgrade, January 9. Officers and soldiers are deserting from Adrianople daily. They report that the supply of bread has been reduced to less than four ounces daily, and that there is no other food. TALE OF MASSACRE AND CRIME. Berlin, January 9. The Rev. Brunan, German pastor at Salonika, in a letter to Vossischezeitung, says that thousands of Turkish inhabitants have been massacred, villages burned, and untold cruelties committed. It is impossible for the expelled Turks to return, as they would perish from hunger and cold.
