SUNDRY SPORTS.
CYCLING. (Received- 9.55 a.m.) Sydney, December 31. The pace in the six-days’ cycle rate was made so hot that eight teams retired, leaving eleven in at the end of twenty-four hours, the distance covered was 429 miles. Seven teams, inchldihg the New Zealanders, are together. The others are a couple of laps behind. , There were several fine unavailing sprints to recover leeway, but, a strong wind interfered with the riding.
RIFLE SHOOTING.
(Received 9.55 a.m.) Hobart, December 30. The Commonwealth Rifle Match resulted : Westralia 1538 points, Queensland 1534, New South Wales 1630.
BOWLING.
(Received 10,25 a.m.) Melbourne, December 31. At the Interstate Bowling, Champion Carnival, Victoria won four out of five games; South Australia, Queensland, and Tasmania three games each; and New South Wales two games.
