Ltd and lleduced, Stratford branch, report as follows: On Tuesday, 17th instant, we belt our usual fortnightly sale in our Stratford yards, when there was :• fair yaiding, the whole being sold either at 'the hammer or afterwards. We quote prices as follows:—Store cows, old and in low condition 37s Gel to 57s Gd, good store cows 1 62s tc 82s, forward to fat cows 90s to 128 f Gd; bulls 38s to; 1355, 2 to 2$ yeat steers 81s Gd to 100 s, 15 to IB month steers from 47s for small cattle 1; 67s Gd for good strong cattle, 15 month Shorthorn heifers 57s Gd tc 75s Gd, Jersey-Holstein heifers 81s to 95s Gd, springing heifers 110 s tc 130 s, dairy cows 140 s. During the week we have disposed of a fair number of cattle and sheep nt full market values, prices being as follows: 2 to 2)-year old steers 95s to 102 s Gd, 2-year empty heifers 35s to 97s Gd, 15 to IS-montli empty heifers 52s Gd for poor Shorthorn sort; to 67s Gd for good strong cattle, 18 month steers 50s ior poor conditioned cattle to 78s for real good well-'gi'owi stuff, Jersey bulls 120 s to 14.05, hoggets, shorn, 10s to 14s, hoggets ir wool 16s. 2-tooth wethers 13s to 14* Gd. 4 and 5 year ewes, ex shears, for ward delivery 11s 3d, ewes and lanibr 20s 9d to 235, fat ewes 15s Gd, lambs for forward delivery 10s to 10s Gd.
