He ad mitted certain relations with Mrs Walker and promising to marry her if her husband died or she got a divorce. After their separation Mrs Walker said she would leave him free io marry, as it was not fair to ask him to wait. She seemed pleased that lie was engaged to Miss Zillman. A Brisbane cablegram, dated Octobey;3Q, says':—A mysterious tragedy has occurred' at Warwick. A Miss Ailltnan received by post a box cf chocolates. She ate three and died in great agony 7 . A companion (Mrs Peterson) ate one, and became seriously ill, but recovered.
