FARMERS’ CO-OPERATION.
Betwjon thirty and forty suppliers of the Midhirst Dairy Company met at the Town Hall, Midhirst, on AVedJ , V nesday evening to hear the objects of the proposed Farmers’ Co-operative Organisation Society explained by Mr. Buckerkge, the Society’s organiser. An at ten five hearing was accorded him and the general feeling was “that tho sooner the Society started the better.” Mr. Buck nfidge has been asked to again add.mss a meeting of the Midhirst fara ers early in the New Year. Owing to -he Christmas and New Year holidays, and also the farmers being very busa with their crops, further meetings m connection with the proposed Socrety will not be held until the end of January.
