A fire at Claroville last night destroyed S. A. Pull’s store, granary, ami residence, and the local post office. Nothing was saved. fho fire commenced in the shop, but the cause is unknown. The occupants escaped in their night attire. A ladder down which they descended was flaming before they reached the ground. Insurances: £6OO in the State office on tho store, £IOO on the granary, £loo on tho stock in the granary, and £7OO on the stock in tho South British on tho post office and £IOO on tho contents.
