AUSTRALIAN PRECAUTIONS
(Received 11, 9.23 a.in.) Sydney, December 11 The outbreak of bubonic plague
New Caledonia is causing apprehension owing to the possibility of its introduction to Australia. It is a source of special danger to New South Wales, and the authorities are taking special precautions. The country has been declared plague infected.
