The Government Meteorologist (Rev. D. C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows: The indications arc for variable am! moderate breezes. Northerly moderate to strong winds prevailing, mild and liazy conditions, but expect dull weather with much mist and fog in parts at times. Barometer unsteady, but has a falling tendency.
