Melbourne, December 9. The Board of Control appointed a sub-committee to inquire into the charges against members of the Australian team. The Board asked Mr Crouch to supplement the report he presented to the annual meeting. On the strength of this supplementary report it was decided to investigate thoroughly Mr Crouch’s complaints against 'Certain members. The charges are said to be definite, and it is understood will be substantiated by statutory declarations from other members. The sub-committee held n meeting in private, and decided tr obtain statements from players. Probably a special meeting of the Board will later deal with the matter.
