AN ATTEMPT AT SUICIDE.
A KOHURATAHI CASE. 'A young man, named William Gleeson, a labourer residing at Kohuratahi, attempted suicide at Kohuratahi yesterday by hanging himself with a wire rope. He was immediately cut down by some passers-by, and was to-day brought into Stratford by Constable Scannell. This morning the accused appeared before Mr S. Ward, J.P., and was remanded till Friday next.
