NAPIER WOOL SALES. AVERAGE INCREASE IJd LB. (Per Press Association.) Napier, December 2. Ilie wool sales opened exceptionally strong with keen competition from a full bench of buyers. Tne catalogue totalled 13,795 bales, "and very few Jots were passed. American competition for the better class stimulated other buyers, and the sale was very strenuous. Evidence <f this is furnished in the fact that one consignment of LTD bales comprising nine lots, was put through in 45secs, tiio price aggregating £2500. Prices showed all-round increases, averaging lid lb.
