Bradford Wool.—Tlic market is very firm, and business is quieter; 64’s, 29c1; common 60’s, 27d; super, 28Id ; 50’s, 2ld; 56’s, 22id ; 40’s, 15fd; 46’s. 163 d. Wheat.—Cargoes are firmer, ship pens offering sparingly. There is little bidding, 37s is asked for Australian January-February, and 36s 9d for March-April shipment. Liverpool futures Decomber-March 881 cents, Ma;, 87 1 cent, Chicago December 841 cents to 85i cents, May 90J cents to Old cents, Australian spot about 40s. Flour.—Dull and easier; Australian patents 28s to 29s ox store. Oats.—Show. La Plata January-Feb-ruary 15s 3d.
Butter.—The frost in England and the Continent has hardened the market. There is an improved demand for colonial; prices are firm and unchanged. Danish 128 s to 130 s. Importers are storing New Zealand in the hope of getting better prices shortly. . Cheese.—The market is quiet and unchanged. Wool.—At the sales there is keen competition by Continental buyers. Yorkshire buyers demand fine merinos, the prices for which are hardening. Crossbreds are unchanged. Silver, 29 3-l Gd.
