THE WHEAT MARKET,
London, November 28,
Wheat fell 3d upon the American decline, but has closed firmer on reports of heavy rain in the River Plate. Cargoes are weak—36s 9d has been offered for an Australian JanuaryFebruary shipment and 36s 6d for a Mareh-April shipment. The American visible supply is 108,321 quarters.
SOUTH AUSTRALIAN WHEAT. Adelaide, November 28, An official estimate of the wheat yield gave the crop as 20,137,870 bushels, an average of nine bushels per acre.
WOOL SALES. Sydney, November 28. Wool, 44,448 bales were offered during the week, and 42,185 sold. Competition generally was keen, though occasionally irregular, particularly at the closing sales. The recent high values were barely maintained to-day.
