SOME DISASTERS CAUSED

(Received 10.-10 a.m.) London, November 26

A severe gale is raging in the Channel, and on the west coast. It caused the collapse of a crane in Messrs Vickers’ shipyard at Barrow, and two men were killed and twelve injured. The steamer St. Patrick foundered at Star Point, and five persons were drowned.

The action of the sea has caused great erosion on the coast at Rhyl, which threaten to destroy the railway
