Tin barracks Avere damaged and the hos pita-1 dismantled, patients being convoyed in the hurricane during driving rain to the raihray cars. Tens of thousands, including mam Americans, are homeless. The typhoon Avas accompanied by a tidal wave AA'hich tore up and destroyed the raihvays in many places.
