STOCKS IN MINING VENTURE. (Received 11.15 a.ra.) New York, November IS. Julian Hawthorne, Jonah Quincy (ex-assistant to the Secretary of State), and others, have been indicted for lining the mails with intent to defraud. The case involved three roillian dollars’ worth of stocks sold in mining ventures.
