GISBORNE-NAPIER FERRY.
TO BE GIVEN A TRIAL
(Per Press Association.) Gisborne, November 13. Mr Preston, Gisborne manager of the Union Steamship Company, states that the proposed trial ferry service between Gisborne and Napier v ill be /commenced from the latter port on (Thursday, December sth. The steamer leaves Gisborne on the evenings ol Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and leaves Napier on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays after the anival of the Wellington mail train.
