MAN JUMPS OVERBOARD.
(Received 10.10 a.m.) Sydney, November 13
A steerage passenger, who joined the Moeraki at "Wellington, jumped overboard on Sunday. His name is believed to be one W. Poodenson. It is stated that a. Greek passenger who could not speak English excitedly drew the deck hands’ attention to something in the water astern, which they took to mean baggage overboard, but an hour later an interpreter discovered that the Greek had declared be had seen the passenger climb the rail and jump overboard.
