NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
An advertiser has about six acres of stumping at Cardiff. A pair of child’s sandals found in Broadway await a claimant at the Borough Council offices. A reward is offered for the return of a pocket book. As notified elsewhere, Mr. Jas. E. Campbell, sight specialist, may he consulted at Mr. F. Edwards’, chemist, on November loth. A number of totara piles are advertised for sale. Two purebred Jersey bulls, two-year-old, good Jersey strain, are advertised for sale.
Mr. J. H. Thompson, land agent, advertises a first-class sheep farm, for sale on very easy- terms.
Messrs. 11. H. White and Co. invito the public to inspect their fine variety of ribbons, which they have just opened up. The H.B. New Zealand Clothing Factory is the best place for travelling requisites, A replace advertisement appears elsewhere. Messrs. McCluggago and Co. have a replace land advertisement in this issue, and offer some good dairy farms and town properties. Newton King will sell at his Stratford dairy yards, on Tuesday, 12th November, 50 springing heifers and 25 daify cows. Also, on account of Mr. R. H. Phillips, 50 dairy cows and heifers. ■ At Douglas, on Monday, November lltb, at 1 o’clock, Newton King will sell 140 head of mixed cattle. _ Mr T. Lamason will hold his usual weekly Haymarkot and Mart sales on Saturday. Ond |-acro building site will be sold without reserve.
