HALF A MILLION STERLING. (Per Press Association.) Wellington, November 5. Mr J. W. Salmond, Solicitor-Gener-al, leaves for London on Friday to represent New Zealand before the special tribunal set up to adjudicate on the Webster claim. The amount is half a million, and the claim is made up by the successors of an American whaler for lands in Auckland now in possession of the Grown. Mr Fitchett and Sir J. G. Findlay have already visited England on this business. >
