Sydney, November 5. The Broken Hill Block Tin Company’s net profits for the past half year were £36,059; working costs 22s 7d per ton, compared to 18s 6d for the last corresponding half year. The Mount Morgan returns for October show that the gold reduction works produced 2793 ounces; the copper works 753 tons of copper, and 11,422 ounces of gold of a total value of £90,214. The gold contents of copper, showed marked improvement, averaging 7.78 dwts per ton, compared to 6.5 G in September.
