(Per Press j •^asqoiatioq. j Napier, October 24 Tbo inquest on the body of Jan es Gordon, who wars found dead on the road near Waikare, showed that deceased and a mate drank a bottle and a half of whisky neat in two hours. A verdict was returned that*death y/as due to suffocation caused by falling face downwards in the mud, whilst ;n a state of helpless intoxication.
