THE MELBOURNE TEAM. Wellington, October 22. The South Melbourne cricket team which will tour New Zealand will leave Sydney on December 11th. Offers to play the visitors have been accepted from Wellington, Petone, Blenheim, Masterton, Christchurch, Ashburton, and Dunedin. The team will also play the Wellington Wednesday representatives, and will return to Melbourne by January 31st. An important addition to the team is J. Giller, who is reported to be a good all-round man.
