(Received 8.20 a. in.) Budapest, October 14. An aviator named Takacs was k lied while aeroplaning at Rakos. A review was held a fortnight ago at Versailles, near Paris, of .the first military aerial fleet, 72 biplanes and monoplanes taking part. Ai remarkable feature of the review was the? peculiar faith which :mgny.-pfj the aviators placed in mascots whici'i they tied on their machines. : Tlie ! - popular mascots were,. stuffed gulls, (( and . teddy boars. When the engines'were started almost simultaneously by the pilots the roar could be heard for a distance of many miles. The sight of the machines rising into the air was one of the most extraordinary which lias eve?' met the eyes of-human beings. To thfe spectators on the ground the aeroplanes seemed to fill the sky like a flight of gigantic birds, 4V • s
