McAllister said the bombastic spirit displayed by some Councils merely advertising these people; he advocated treating them with contempt. Councillor R. McK. Morison advocated “receive the thing and out it in the fire.” The letter should be treated Avith utter contempt. Councillor King thought tho resolution Avas a right and sensible one. It might have the effect of damping tho Peace Council’s ardour.” If they don’t like the country,” concluded the speaker, “let them get out of it, and the sooner the better.’ Chorus of Councillors: Hear, hear. The motion Avas carried.
