For tho mnntii of September 648,991 lbs of milk were received at the North Taranaki Dairy Factory, producing 26,363Vbs of batter fat. from which 30,2071bs of butter were manufactured. This represents an increase in milk in comparison with September, 1911, of 121,4121b5, butterfat 5.6681bs and butter 3 ton 2cwt 71bs. The suppliers receive £1235 16s 3d for September milk, as against £BB4 5s scl for .the previous September, an increase of 1 £351 10s- lOd. Waitara Road factory figures for September show milk 499,6921 bs, butter fat 21,3331 bs, butter 24,44D1b5. The increases are; Milk 66,1231b5. butter fat 40891 bs. butter 2 tons. The payments amount to ,-£1022 Is sd, as against £772 5s Bd, an increase of £2 )9 15s 9d. . „ Tho North Taranaki Dairy Company have given an order for a No. 6 pasteuriser. which will be installed without delay. The directors, finding? that cream will be supplied in fairly large quantities from some of the back roads this summer, and so as to ensure the quality of butter being firstclass, have-tak'eh this step somewhat earlier than it was at first proposed.
