TARANAKI OIL.
(Per Press Association.) Wellington, October 9
Mr William McLean, of Wellington, director of the Bonithon Oil Company, Taranaki/ who went to America three months ago, returned by the Tahiti to-day. Fie | reports having obtained an up-to-date plant for the company and having engaged two expert drillers in the United States. The plant is capable of boring to a depth of 5200 feet.
