ATTEMPTED SUICIDE.

Auckland, October 7. A young Frenchman, named St. Mar, who previously complained of being hard-up, attempted suicide in a of bis hotel, where ho was found with his braces tied round his neck, and suspended from a hat pin. Ho was cut down by the licensee, and is little the worse. At the police Court he was remanded lor a week for medical observation.
