The Stratford supplementary spring horse fair will be held by Mr, Newton King at his horse bazaar to-morrow. Entries appear elsewhere. Hr. Ti Lamason’s Mart sale will bo held as usual at his Mart to-morrow. Particulars are advertised in this issue. Mr. Newton King, will hold his Haymarket and Mart sales as usual tomorrow, when poultry, table potatoes, vegetables, frmture and sundries will - he sold.

Bellringer Bros., ironmongers, Broadway, have a quantity of garden requisites ■ and tools, ( on hand, and among these are lawn mowers, of which prices are given in their space elsewhere. Housewives’ attention is drawn to Messrs. McMillan and Frodric’s advertisement on page 5, regarding the new vacuum washing machine. At the Waiwakaiho yards on Thursday, October 10th, Mr. Nowton King will sell 120 horses, the whole of Mr. J. Wool ridge’s carrying plant, and a motor lorry in good order. Particulars appear elsewhere. The springing heifer Bale to have been held to-morrow, October 6th v at their Stratford yards, by the N.Z. Loan, and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., has been postponed until the following Saturday, October 12th.

Invitation holders are reminded that the next Oddfellows’ euchre party takes place on Monday evening next. On Tuesday, October Bth, the N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., in conjunction with Messrs. W. H. H. Young and Co., will sell 700 head of mixed cattle, at the Stratford sale yards. A good gardener is wanted.
