LYSOL POISONING

Frank. Corcoran, a carter, aged 40, well known as a Thames resident, was found in the outskirts of the borough suffering from lysol poisoning, - He died at the hospital this afternoon. DEATH FROM HEART DISEASE. Dunedin, ■ iAt the ,inquesi on the body of Frederick Booth, who'' died suddenly 'at South Dunedin yesterday, ev-iderice .showed that deceased' suffered from enteric fever six'or seven years ago; but he had not seen a doctor since. He had a fainting fit on Tuesday morning. Medical attendance showed that'"the 1 internal organs were mostly in a diseased condition, and that death was probably clue to a clot of blood entering the right: auricle of the heart.- A verdict of death from natural causes was returned. ATTEMPTED SUICIDE IN DUNEDIN. Dunedin, September 25.
The South Dunedin police received intimation this afternoon that James. Leonard, aged 34 years, has attempted to commit suicide by cutting his throat at Bridgman Street, South Dunedin. He was conveyed to the hospital. It is stated that he was down from the North Island on a holiday. At latest advice his condition was said to ho not serious. ' ■ .
