NAPIER SESSIONS. (Per Press Association.) Napier, September 17. The Supreme Court opened before Mr Justice Edwards, who in Ids charge to the jury expressed regret that the calendar, though not largo, contained some rather serious cases. The Grand Jury returned true hills in all instances. The first case taken was that charging Mathias Peter Beck of manslaughter, arising nut of the death of Ids wife at Norsewood.
