THE BAKERS' DISPUTE. (Per Press 'Association.) Wellington, September 12. The bakers' dispute was mentioned in the Arbitration Court to-day. Mr Justice Sim said the case was allowed to stand over on the understanding that the federation should apply for a Dominion award, but, owing to the muddled legislation on the subject, they had been unable to proceed with the application. For the master takers it was stated that the employers had been working on the understanding that a Dominion award would lie sought. After taking evidence in various centres they did not wish to hive an award made on the evidence given in Wellington alone, and would like the case held over until the Auckland r.itting. On behalf of the union it was slated that members were becoming impatient at the delay. It was suggested that the Wellington Union should he represented at Auckland and the nnion'f representative promised to common:j cate with the Auckland Union, the disJ pute being adjourned in the meantime
