Canterbury A, a bye. hi the Taranaki-Manawatu game Manawatu had the better of the con test without much difficulty, the re suit being 4 to nil. Miss Ivy McKen aie and Miss Gollingwood (Manawatu" did good work, and Miss F, Fairbro ther, in her capacity as full-back, war highly effective on the other side Miss Arthur, the goalkeeper, did sonv. clever stopping, and saved her sid from several defeats. Generally speak ing, the attacks throughout \ver> good on the part of individual players out following-up was inadequate.
