GREYMOUTH SESSIONS
(Per Press Association.) Groymouth, September 11. The criminal sessions opened to-day before .Judge Denniston, who congratulated the district on the comparative absence of crime, there being only two criminal cases, neither of which presented any difficulty. Tne Grand jury found true bills against George Tikoeti, for carnal knowledge, and John Watson, for assault and causing grievous bodily harm. The hearing of the cases occupied all day. Both accused were found not guilty. Walter Hargreaves (aged 17), remanded for sen tencc from Murchison, on two charges of forgery, was admitted to probation on tho first charge and ordered t > come up for sentence when called upon in tho second case.
