MR. NEWTON KING’S SALT
3577 GUINEAS FOR 28 ANIMALS. Fourteen pedigree Holstem-Friesi an cows, three pedigree heifers, nine pedi greo yearling hulls, two pedigree twoyear old hulls, and two grade Holstein s, were disposed of yesterday by Mr. Newton King, at his Waiwakaiho yards. The prices realised constituted a record for any one herd in New Zealand. 3577 guineas being paid for 28 cattle. Mr, R. Morrison, of Robot u, paid 225 guineas for a cow, Naz li do Kol. and with his seven othc purchases he paid 1128 guineas, at an average price of 141 guineas. Three pf the cows realised over 200 guineas. The purchasers were as follows: Podigrea Cows.
