NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
A good brush hand is wanted. Two bush bauds, are wanted for a
sawmill, at once. At the Hay-market sale to-morrow, Mr Newton King will sell pigs, calves, horses and sundries. A strong well-built milk waggon and a heavy spring cart are offered for sale. On Friday and Saturday, September 13th and 14th, Mr. X owton King conducts his Stratford spring horse fair at the Horse Bazaar. Entries close on Monday, September 9th. A man is wanted for farm work.
The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., Hawera, conduct thenannual spring horse fair at Tattersail’s, Hawera, commencing on Wednesday, September 25th. Particulars appear elsewhere. Ladies- who wish to see the new fashions for spring and summer are invited to call at Morey and Son’s, where a fine display of the latest good* is being made. See announcement in this issue for further particulars. _ x Mr T. Lainasou will hold his Haymarket sale .as usual to-morrow, when a quantity of sundries will bo sold. Messrs R. Hannah and Co., Broadway-, announce their half-yearly baigain sale on an inset circulated with this issue. Invitation holders are reminded of the Oddfellows’ euchre party, wnich takes place on Monday eyening. A good general servant is wanted. Entries to date for the N.Z. Loan and Mercantile A'gency Co.’s Stratford stock sale are published.
On the 25th, 26th, 27th, and 28th inst. the N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Limited and Reduced. Hawera, are holding their annual spring horse fair at Tattersall’s, Hawera, when they expect to realise good prices for all classes of horses, as there will be a large attendance of outside buvers. x
