After a hearing lasting three days the jury found a verdict for plaintiff for £775 in the case in whidli; the D.1.C., Wellington, sued the Bank of Australasia for damages caused through water leaking into plaintiff s collar. The evidence, chiefly that of architects, engineers, builders, geologists and other experts, was that the point at issue was whether the water came from defendant s aitosiau well or was natural subsoil water.
