(Per Press Association.} Auckland, May 30. Decrees nisi were granted in Wm. Edward Birkett v. Margaret Birketl and Alexander Stannaway, co-respon-dent, the question of costs standing over pending the disposal of a settlement; Alice Elizabeth Parker v. Ira George Parker, misconduct. Alice Thompson, wife of Constable Thompson, ,in n charge of , the Thorndon Police,.StMion, died at'the hospital to-day from injuries received on or near the ■'fliorudon railway line on May 15th. She was found lying on the line at 10..'50 p.m. It is not known whether she was struck by an engine. :i
