THE HON. G. W. RUSSELL

Christchurch, May 29. Mr Russell stated to-night that tho Government is trying to solve the domestic servant problem to making arrangements for a party of fifty English orphans to come out to Now Zealand to enter service here. If the experiment is successful it might be extended. Regarding the political situation he said that there would bo no coalition between the present Liberal Governmnt and any other party. If tho former was defeated in tho House, an appeal would be made to the country.
