NEW PLYMOUTH SHOW.

Next week New Plymouth should see a blaze of country smiling faces,.as Weil as the townsfolk of our local “city,” and distant friends, strolling leisurely towards the great Winter Snow ouilduigs, which me Taranaki Agricultural tegeiety have just erected to accommodate the numerous entries and public, that will be seen at the Sliow, on June oth, 6th, 7th, and Bth next. The entries have exceeded all expectations of the Secretary, Mr. Arthur Cliff, and the committee generally, and one can well imagine this when you compare the present entries with that of Palmerston’s recognised popular Show, and liud that ttiis year’s entries exceeds Palmerston’s last year’s Show by something like 800 odd entries; this, of course, docs not include the Government’s Agricultural exhibition, which will take, up 8000 feet of floor space, so you can thoroughly rely on seeing the greatest exhibit on of dairy produce, ham and bacon, working machinery, garden and field roots, nome industries, in all branches, technical school students’ work in abundance, and the largest collection of poultry ever placed before the public in Taranaki.

Besides the great exhibition of all classes of entries one will ):e able to enjoy the spare minutes in viewing “Saunders’ Continuous Pictures,” the attractive side show of freaks of nature, and dozens of amusing as well as speculative side attractions that are be : ng catered for hy the Society. We should suggest that our local friends should take a well-earned holiday and attend the Winter Show, and see for themselves tho greatest exhibition ever bold in the Dominion.
