SAILING SHIP ENCOUNTERS A FIERCE STORM. TWO SEAMEN DROWNED. (Received 29, 9.40 a.m.) Adelaide, May 29. The ship Fortpatrick, from New York, had a,sensational voyage. Sin experienced a series of gales. A bu sea carried away tho wheel, and tool two seamen, Carson and Braste, overboard, both being drowned. The shrj was uncontrolled till another whee was fixed. She rolled and strained al , armiugly. The gale stripped the sail: and did considerable damage to tin 'deck cabin. Seas flooded a great pari of the stores, and spoiled them. At tin height of the storm the first mate. Fow'les, was found deild in his cabin, from heart failure.
