Smitli went by an easy catch ai cover point. Macartney showed good eif-driving. He lost his wicket in playing forward to Vidler. Minnett was run out in the nexi over, owing to Bardsley's foolish call. Crufcchley accounted for Kelleway with a high single-handed catch.— Five for ,51 after 55 intimites' play. The bowling was steady, and the fielding smart. Bardsley and Gregory stopped the rot, and ran the total to IGI before Gregory succumbed. He was 95 minutes at the wicket. His play was uneven.
